Lighting creates the mood and
adds energy and excitement to your event
To create an exciting
disco party mood, lighting is a very important
factor
to be taken into account. We categorize the lighting
used by our discos in the Bronze, Silver and Gold.
Bronze is our Basic, and as it sounds, its just the
minimum amount of lighting and is ideal for smaller
venues such as marquees, pubs and small function
rooms. Silver doubles that to fit appropriate room
sizes and Gold has added ambient lighting to create
a modern and colorful environment. If you create a
great environment, it helps your guests to enjoy
themselves and let their hair down.
We're very flexible! -
if you have a wedding reception that might be too
small or large then we can add/remove lighting
especially when it might be inappropriate in a small
venue. Please bear in mind that the same lighting
for a village hall compared to a massive hall won't
be the same and will require the right level of
lighting. If we can save you money - we will.

Don't you hate it when
DJ's simply have lighting that hits your eyes
throughout the night? We stay away
from rope lights, police beacons and Disco Dave
traffic lights!!
Our lighting rig
contains the latest and modern DISCO
equipment, it contains 2 Scanners, 1 Twister and a
colourwash effect. It's suited to smaller venues
hosting around 30-50 guests. All the effects are
controlled by our main DJ area which allow us full
control of the level of lighting during the party.
Having controlled effects like these allows your
guests to truly immerse themselves in the party
atmosphere.

This Silver lighting
rig is appropriate for wedding receptions based on
your guest count and room size, this lighting rig
includes the lighting from Bronze and effectively
doubles up so you get twice the lighting effects. 4
Scanners, 2 Twisters and 2 color wash lights.
This is appropriate for venues hosting for around
100/150 people. All lights are connected together to
give a fantastic show for your guests.

How can you make a
boring, dull reception room into a colorful fun
atmosphere?, through the clever use of ambient
lighting. The Gold lighting system includes lighting
for the venue reception room itself. this lighting
rig includes the lighting from Bronze & Silver
packages and adds 4 colorwash lights
All lighting is customizable, we don't
want to get into situations where the lighting is
inadequate for the size of your venue. Not only this
will look weak but will lack impact. A previsit or
dimensions of the venue will confirm the level of
lighting that will be required.
Colorwash - What does that mean...
Have you ever wondered how you can make
a room look welcoming, colourful and warm. Lighting
can help to do that as you can see below. If you
have a village hall, community hall, golf club or
even a mansion house, they can all do with some
subtle lighting cleverly situated around the room to
make them feel warm and inviting for everyone - all
helps to make people feel relaxed and in the party
mood.

DJSPACEBAR uses 4
computer controlled types of lighting throughout
your event, used at different times of the
evening from slow music to fast music.

When the party
gets underway, several different effects of
lighting is applied to the type of music being
played.
We use the
Twister 4 lights to create warmth and color into
the room, We use Colorwash lights to make the
dancefloor inviting, we use the scanners to
create the dynamic and fast impact that would
normally be associated with up tempo music and
ambient lighting gives us total control of the
rooms effective lighting. |

Most other DJs do not consider the
lighting as part of your party experience and who
knows what they may turn up with? - DJSPACEBAR
uses NO police beacons, traffic lights, old
fashioned disco Boxes or rope light effects that
would normally be associated with older generation
discos. the above effects are enhanced by a special
water based hazer - no smoke. Often DJ's tend to get
carried away with smoke machines - our hazers are
safe (no smoke alarm problems) and are used
responsibly.
We're a modern DJ with lighting based
around your event. Not too much and not too little.
All our lighting is PAT (Portable Appliance Tested)
and we have PLI (Public Liability Insurance) cover.
