Tylney Hall has been granted a license for conducting civil ceremonies

Your ceremony would take place in the Major Cayzer Suite, followed by the wedding breakfast in the Sir Lionel Phillips Suite where they can seat a maximum of 70 people. The Sir Lionel Phillips Suite is an ideal venue in which to continue your celebrations into the evening.

Below are some examples where DJSPACEBAR can help you with music during the day.

1. The Civil Ceremony

The room will most likely be positioned like this during this ceremony. DJSPACEBAR can be at the back of the room providing appropriate audio support for Ceremony Music. If you are planning to have music during your civil ceremony, let us offer some help and advice on accomplishing this.

Here is the layout of the Major Cayzer room.

2. The Wedding Breakfast

The Wedding Breakfast would be held in the room below the Major Cayzer Suite in the Sir Lionel Philips Suite. The maximum this room can seat is 70 so here is an example of a seating plan that could work in this room. DJSPACEBAR can be placed in a subtle area at the back to provide appropriate music throughout the wedding breakfast.

Plan A.

Suitable for about <60 people in the room

Plan B.

3a. The Evening reception

After the Speeches and coffees, the the Sir Lionel Philips Suite is then transformed and prepared for the evening reception. A Dance floor is uncovered providing plenty of space for dancing.

3b. The Wedding Buffet

As you have paid for the hire of the room above the reception (the Major Cayzer Suite), to ensure you get maximum use of the venue, the suite can then be altered to allow the room to be used to hold the wedding buffet where after announcements of the buffet being open will allow guests to go get their food above the venue.

Here is an idea of how the room could be utilized so that it has plenty of space for the buffet to be laid out as well as some seating for guests to enjoy their food. Alternatively, if you prefer the buffet to be downstairs and you are inviting children, there is no harm in working with the venue to provide a TV/Video option to keep the kids entertained.
