expectations for a successful party. We setup a demonstration
with you to introduce ourselves, understand your
ideas and requirements, explain our services and show
you what we've done at our
previous events. No doubt you have been
to many wedding parties before and have your own
views on what you liked/didn't like, so this time is
good to understand this and see if we fit in with
your plans.
During this meeting, we'll be able
to save you money & stress! - not kidding. We
speak to hundreds of brides, their guests and have
performed at many weddings - if its the 1st time you
are getting married you will be surprised and
possibly unaware of many areas of your event you may
not know about - we
would be concerned for your event just as you would
and provide advice and assistance to make sure you
get the best from your once in a lifetime event -
not just from your perspective but also your guests
too. |

Unlimited Meetings: -
if you decide to opt for DJSPACEBAR, you
are granted unlimited meetings
with us to
work with you towards building a fantastic reception.
Emails, instant messaging calls, telephone calls and
even conference calls with any of your vendors.
You'll also be able to understand how we control the energy,
presentation, music selection and our role in
the coordination of the event.
We are here to ensure your event is a success and we
will help you with your
planning where we can. |

Play list Planning -
We provide you a private
"dashboard"
area.
This allows us to work with us to
compile your music play list and assist with the
planning of your day/reception!. We specialise in
wedding receptions and have a
wide
variety of music. All our clients music
tastes are unique so we are able to cleverly fuse
your style of music at your reception. Please take a
look at some of our
previous
clients play lists as we don't play the
same set at weddings. |

Photo Scanning -
Custom slideshows will require your
personal prints to be scanned and digitally
corrected (images get cropped, rotated,
contrasts/brightness adjusting, fixing red eye and
slideshow transitions and animations added). We
will take care of all this for you and provide all your
precious prints back to you (registered
post/couriered to you). We will supply you with their digital copies on a separate
CD too. There are cost
savings to be made if you can scan the
pictures in yourself |

Pre-Reception Consultation -
A review of your
venue
will allow us
to understand what we have to work with. You've booked a beautiful
location so don't want
the reception room spoilt by having unnecessary equipment or an ugly DJ setup to
spoil the rooms visual ambience. All our sound and lighting equipment is
designed to be
professional and unobtrusive so we have
no scaffolding rigs or
large speakers boxes that traditional DJs may be
used to. Meeting up at the
venue will allow us to get acquainted with the management and understand their
policies and procedures regarding sound
limiters, electrical points and emergency
procedures. We have full Public Liability insurance
(PLI),
Portable Appliance Testing (PAT) and Risk
Assessment (RA) documentation that most venues will
require before they allow any wedding vendor to
operate on their premises. |

Wedding Stationery
- From the moment guests
receive their wedding invite, we too want to follow
that your theme and style . All slideshows and
graphics used throughout your evening reception are
based around your theme. |
|

|
Time to work towards your event:
On average with previous
customers experiences, you can expect DJSPACEBAR to
spend around 15hrs with you before your event
(email, telephone, 1:1, meetings with you and your
wedding coordinators/venue, slideshow creation time
and travel - we've planned
& performed at 100's of successful weddings so we'd
want to ensure
yours becomes a success too! Once the
reception starts, do you hope just music will be
enough, with a little planning and management of the
reception, you can be sure the evening is well paced
and entertaining for guests to 'be in the mood' |

Time -
Depending on the package you've decided which will
let us know the venue, timings, flow of the day. We
will have worked out when we will be needed, we
require 2hrs for the creation of the wedding day
show on your day and time We request at least 1hr to
setup (if you are in the same room as the wedding
breakfast/reception) and 1hr to clean/pack up. We
need 1hr to edit the wedding day pictures. The above
assumes that we will be starting the 1st dance from
8pm to close at 12. [as each wedding requirements
are different, pls enquire to discuss further
details to work with your timings] |

Sound Equipment - Gone are the days of tired
and massive old speaker boxes used by old school
DJ's. Audiences need to feel and hear the music
without overpowering guests ears. We use professional
BOSE Speaker
digital systems to ensure clear undistorted music and maintain
a
clean and tidy look for your venue. |
|
|
|
Digital DJ'ing -
We use the latest in
modern
technology to control and mix our music.
Our technology allows us to find and
locate your music as well as adhere to yours and
guests requests. We have a vast music library of cd's and digital files and knowledge on what works
(and does not) with your crowd. We cater for
all tastes and we work alongside you to
build custom play lists. We are members
of the Digital DJ communities and strongly adhere
to purchasing music legitimately. |

Lighting -
A great reception needs a great
atmosphere and lighting helps set the mood. Our
lighting
is discreetly placed within the room and we can use
up to 12
Intelligent lighting effects depending on the
venue. All our
lighting is computer controlled where different lighting is used during certain
events of the evening
(i.e. 1st dance, chilled lighting right up to club
level lighting). We can also use
colour wash lighting to highlight wall
or marquees to
help create a warm and inviting atmosphere, We can
provide minimal lighting if you wish. |

Equipment:
Video Projector & Screen -
We include necessary digital video hardware
to allow showing off the slideshows for the evening. This
includes an 8ft projector screen & Digital
Projector. Please note that if the venue room is too
small then DJSPACEBAR will pay 50% of the costs of
the hire of a plasma screen for your reception
room. *if you would like to use our projector
equipment for speeches during the wedding breakfast
then we can accommodate this (optional see below) |

First Dance Confetti Cannons -
As part of your first dance, DJSPACEBAR provides Silver or Gold
confetti pyrotechnic glitter cannons to formally start the
wedding reception. These
are released at the end of your first dance to
create a
spectacular start to the evening reception.
We'll work with your video and photo guys before
the 1st dance to ensure that they get great shots.

Celebration Flutter-Fetti -
As part of our efforts in getting your guests onto the
dance floor. Just after the 1st dance, we'll trigger
another confetti cannon over your guests. Everyone
loves to be showered in confetti. Few venues will
object to confetti due to the unnecessary cleaning
so DJSPACEBAR will be responsible for
"cleaning it up too". |

Creative Slideshows -
We show slideshows appropriately paced
throughout the evening along with your wedding
day pictures. Trust us! - this
really makes your event personal and well planned.

Wedding Protocol/Musical Etiquette -
Having a wedding DJ, as opposed to a novice DJ
or a Club DJ means we have to play music aimed at
all guests ages. We can work with you during the
planning stage on how to
pace out a great party, from the start of the party,
timings for the buffet, entertaining the guests, to
ending the party with guests spirits high and asking
for more!. |

Party Kit Giveaways -
These are extra items given away during the festivity
to provide extra fun an excitement |

Nominated Guest for pictures of the
Day. There will always be
someone in your party that will want to assist
somewhere for your wedding day. We will work with
this person and provide them with a digital
camera (if they wish, they can use their own). We'll
give them advice and information on taking reportage
camera shots. (NB this is not meant to replace your
official photographer) These are informal shots
taken by your guests to summarise the days events
and we'll build a beautiful slideshow ready to be
viewed later on in the evening. If you have lots of guests
with cameras who are happy to lend us their memory
sticks, we'll work with them too! All pictures are
appropriately vetted before they are shown.

your day guests, as well as your evening
guests will be able to recap the days events! |

Guests Access to Image Gallery
- All pictures that are taken by the nominated guest
during the day
will be uploaded onto our website the following
working day. We
will give all guests access cards so they will be able
to download them for FREE from our website.
This is a great recap and reminder for guests that
attended your party and ideal for those who could
not make the wedding day or are in other parts of
the world. We will endeavour to include photos of
the evening reception too.

- All music played during the evening and selected by
you will be displayed on your gallery for
guests to see what music was played.

- All slideshows played during the evening reception
will be accessible from your gallery for
guests to see the slideshows in their own

music as that will be mixed in on the night.
